So there I was, walking down Times Square, minding my own business… when all of a sudden my cellphone beeped as if it had just received an incoming message. “Him again??”, I thought to myself, referring to the guy I had gone on a date with the night before and who hadn’t stopped text messaging me ever since.. “Doesn’t he get that I’m JUST NOT THAT INTO HIM???”
But to my surprise, as I reached for my cellphone I saw the following message on my screen: ’Land Rover is trying to connect to you via Bluetooth. Accept?’ More (offsite link)….

In the last few days a collection of opinion articles have circulated on the ‘Net, their message summed up as follows: an IP address isn’t enough “evidence” to sue someone for downloading copyrighted material,” for example. This overemphasizes recent happenings in court and also gives a false impression of what’s really going on. Time for a quick trip to the fact-checking department. More (offsite link)…

Mozilla has passed the 200 millionth download of Firefox, and has taken the opportunity to thank its most fervent fans for their work in supporing the open-source Web browser.
On the SpreadFirefox Web site Monday, Mozilla developer and community coordinator Asa Dotzler thanked the “tens of thousands” of affiliate members who use “buttons, banners, and links to spread the word about Firefox.” More (offsite link)…

A quick replacement for all mobloggers who want to post without all the footers cell providers put in the emails from their customer’s phones. Created for T-Mobile users It might work for other providers where they put in a footer after the image.
The original version of this (by Ryan Duff) can be found here. A modified version to have the thumbnail functionality of Keitai Mail with a few other little tweaks can be found here. A friend of mine has further patched it up for me because it was letting the footer images through (even though it isn’t supposed too). This revision has only been tested on T-Mobile carrier.
